Going to Latil’s for dinner on Saturday night. Haven’t seen a ton of info on this place and isn’t a huge menu, but what’s something I shouldn’t pass up on?

Look into the tasting menu.

My advice, go early, have drinks at the Turtle bar perhaps walk around the grounds a little before dinner.

Perfect. Yeah I'm not eating until 8, so will definitely do this.

The pumpkin curry seafood bisque is awesome. If they have the sweet potato tasso soup, try that too. Have not had a bad meal there yet.

Up there with one of the best restaurant meals I've ever had. They were only doing the big multi course menu for Valentines, so it was also one of the most expensive meals I've ever had.

Off the top of my head, here's a few of the thing we got.

Foie Gras Grilled Cheese
Crab/Mango Cake
Pumpkin Bisque
Sorbet
House salad
Filet Mignon w/roasted potatoes and an grat demi-glace
bread pudding (best i've ever had)
Red velvet cheesecake

And several drinks from the Turtle Bar which is a really neat spot.

I would love to see them serve small plates on the patio next to the turtle bar
