Gabe311. Not to high jack the thread but did you get floor or seats? I was going to get floor but during the pre-sale my cpu kept messing up so I ended up with seat tickets. I'm kind of happy it happened that way. I'll be able to enjoy the days more now since I don't have to start waiting in line at 2 am. How many 311 Day's have you been to?

Definite hijack

Floor. My buddy had same issue you did, but was able to swap his pair out when they released more tix.

Went to show in 2000, 2002, 2008. Missed 2004 b/c some other shite came up, '06 to the big K, and 2010 b/c I didn't feel like traveling to Vegas. Making it this time b/c we have a group going, plus some people we met at the Pow Wow as well. You?

02', 04', 08', 10'. I think 04' has been the best 311 for me, I could barely walk after that show was over. I was going to Pow Wow but had to cancel last minute which sucked, heard it was a great time. I'm glad that its not being held at Mandalay again. While the venue was bad, the event staff seemed unorganized and very rude. Going to the fan party?

Pow Wow was great just for the Transistor show alone. They just picked a bad time of year for that location. Too hot & humid! Not catching the fan party. I usually skip out on those.

This is what made me upset I missed it more than anything, Transistor is my favorite album. I hope they play firewater this year, its the one song I want to hear more than any. But back to the food, are there any good Chinese places?

I will be there. I have made every 311 day show as well as Pow Wow. Missed the cruise last year though. Got floor and seat tickets. 4 of us going and splitting them up. I don't mind the seats anymore like I used to. This will probably be my last 311 day unless they come back to New Orleans so I hope it's good. Good = "Waiting" free.

Haha I hear ya. But as long as I get to hear "Firewater" I'll be happy. I'm not sure they know the song exist anymore.

Prime in the Bellagio is fantastic. The seafood tower for an appetizer had some of the best crab and shrimp I have ever tested. The steak was superb.

Burger Bar is great choice for lunch. Not sure how many are in town, but I went to the one in Mandalay Bay.

Has anyone tried Holsteins at the Cosmopolitan? A friend recommended it but I don't know much about it. I wasn't too impressed with Burger Bar but it was a good meal. I think it was built up too much on here. I go to In N Out on my way to and from the airport so unless I'm there for a week I usually don't care for just a burger.

Firewater, Bomb The Town, Random. That's my wish list.

I'll definitely be getting some In N Out burger. That is a damn strong wish list. I would love to hear Today my Love and Sun Come Through again.

Continuous Life should have been on there as well. I used to quit hoping for it but after last summer they should have no excuses. Nick hates songs where he has no part though.

They played Continuous Life at the Lake Charles show last year. It was amazing.

Went there. Im sure they have great food, however we did not order it. The raw prawns made me gag and the curry was VERY authentic... a little TOO authentic.

Go with the popular choices. DONT GET ADVENTUROUS.

Great experience though. Id go back with someone that knew what the good stuff was. If you are looking to dine well on a budget, see my post in the last Vegas thread.

Went to Public House in the Venetian last night. Good food and a great beer selection.
