Headed up early this Friday for the LSU game. Will have a full day to do things Friday. Any tid bits on some cool places to go hangout at Friday & Saturday before the game. I see there's a couple breweries in the area but not familiar with them. Possibly looking to go have a good steak Friday. Any recs would be appreciated.

Go downtown sat and hangout at the bars...tailgaiting is kinda average at best

Stock & Barrel is an excellent burger joint downtown. That's all I got because we stopped in there for lunch passing through one day.

Suttree's Tavern is a good beer bar that makes some damn good ramen. Their wine selection sucks however.
