I picked up a bottle (and others) the other day assuming it would be good for the colder weather and holidays.

Is it good to drink straight? Any mixologist on here that can recommend a good cocktail?

Yes good for cold and holidays.

I bet it would be good in Old Fashioned.

Ive only had it on the rocks. Its good but i would only want one pour of it at a time. Not gonna drink multiple of them

I did not like this one neat or on the rocks. It'd probably be good in an Old Fashioned though. The maple flavor was overpowering to my palate. It drinks smooth though.

Full disclosure, while I love maple syrup on pancakes and waffles, I don't typically care for maple flavor in other things. Like raw onions, it tends to be all I taste.

It’s bad… artificially flavored. As opposed the the heavenly Widow Jane Decadence.

Tried it for the first time last night. I get little "smoked maple." However, I do get butter panckes + maple syrup. Immediately upon opening the bottle, I got maple syrup and buttery pancakes. It was a lot sweeter in flavor than I imagined. The smokiness, to me, was nonexistent.

Maybe char a couple of pieces of white oak, wash with water quickly and drop in the bottle for a day. Could be cool to tell us if the quick aging helps the flavor.
