It's for sure in my top 5 of any kind of restaurant in SBC. For tacos/Mexican it is my favorite by far from any location in Louisiana or Texas.

Yeah that was a bad situation all around. And opening up a Mexican place next door to one of the best taco/Mexican places I've been to is a brave move indeed. No way that Pepito's can compete with Ki Mexico from a quality standpoint.
Also, the Ono's / Pepito's place way too much sq footage for a restaurant in SBC. Going to be tough to hit the numbers needed to pay the rent.
