Anyone noticed that KFC is invading SWLA? They just popped up new locations in Eunice, Jennings, Deridder and Leesville. Maybe more, but that’s all I’ve noticed. Brand new and smaller buildings. Looks like some sort of express model they’re testing out.

No lie, the Nashville Hot chicken is awesome.
Beyond that, though, their regular bone-in chicken recipe isn’t even in the same ballpark as Popeyes, and their sides don’t compete with the Popeyes potatoes and red beans.

I don’t know what Popeyes you go to but the ones I go to are consistently bad.

Mainly service but I have had plenty of boxes that were not what I was expecting. One time they were out of every drink except water. Like how the hell does that even happen?
