Does anyone know the story on this place? It looks like it's supposed to be "upscale" Mexican. I can't tell if they're open yet or not.

Not sure but bold strategy opening an upscale Mexican joint where a Mexican joint just failed. Pretty saturated market too and the GOAT Garcia’s is right down the road. I give em 6 months, but I’ll try it.

Wonder if it’s the same restaurant group
as Habaneros

True, that would make much more sense.

Saturated market and yet there are 2 La Carretas and will still be 3 Habaneros with a new one opening on 22 after the one closed on 190.

They have the best brisket sandwich in town, IMO.

The turkey is also an excellent option for any of their dishes. Turkey fajitas, turkey pizza, turkey sandwich, etc.

The steak fajita wrap is also an excellent option for lunch.

I’m a huge fan of Garcia’s.
