Make sure they are "green" and not just "raw". Boil like you would crawfish then let sit for hours. They freeze well, whole, in a ziplock.

Where can I get some to do in a pot on the stove at my house? Walmart? I would like to try my hand at it.

Fresh pickings, south side produce, or any other produce stand

Yesterday as an experiment I put 4 lbs of green jumbo peanuts in my 8 qt pressure cooker and covered with spicy brine. Brought to a boil and after 5 min sealed the lid on and brought up to pressure. Cut the heat after 70 min and let cool about 20 min. They were almost perfect but next time I'll go 60 min at pressure and see how they do.
This works better for the 2 of us than boiling and soaking large quantities for hours at normal pressure in the crawfish pot.
