Going to be in New Orleans in several months. Just saw an episode of Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives that featured this place on Magazine. What are the locals opinion of it? Always looking for new places around the country.

Solid neighborhood restaurant. Nothing earth shattering, but offerings like RBnR, chicken fried steak, catfish and the like are pretty good. They have daily specials which are always tasty.

Exactly right, I don't consider it destination food but if you want a really solid New Orleans lunch or dinner in a place that is full locals and regulars this is a good spot.

Agreed. I wouldn’t go out of my way to eat there. I lived in the neighborhood for nine years and went twice, I think.
