I'd go there for the fresh stuff though. The sushi bar is solid and the fresh fish kick arse. That's what I'd be dropping some money on. Frozen stuff is nothing to go looking for.
I make at least one or two annual trips there. We usually head there on the first day of the beach trip, load up, and eat well for the week. Make sure to stop into the wine shop as well. Some good juice in there.

And usually, we are staying in Orange Beach. It's well worth the extra hour or so there and back. I say it every year, THERE IS NO REASON THAT NOLA DOES NOT HAVE A PLACE EXACTLY LIKE THIS. Somewhere?? Either on the Westbank in Westwego, Belle Chasse, or on the lake somewhere. It would be a cash cow.

There is that seafood market place in Westwego that while different (it's a bunch of different independent sellers) still has pretty awesome selection and prices.
