Eddie has fallen a few more times than people remember. I honestly think Jay may have eclipsed him this week with a strong showing for both challenges. I had Eddie first last week but in all honesty, Jay is far and away the most tv ready. I'm still waiting to see how it plays out for their perspective for their own show. That will make it interesting.

I think Jay and Eddie are the two front runners, not really sure who else will make the top three none of them really wow men.

Yeah I think Alex is next on the chopping block unless he blows them away, then Dom...although the judges REALLY have an affinity for him. Anyone know when the star salvation winner rejoins?

Jay is dealing and has the most marketable concept and identity. But, I just have this feeling that Eddie is going to win. FN will underachieve again.

I could see them both ending up on the network... which means it might be advantageous to finish 2nd and be able to negotiate a deal rather than being locked into the one they already agreed to as the winner.

I think we'll see both of them after this show in some way.

The tone of voice I hear from the judges is that Jay is consistently their choice. However, there is no way they are saying he is at this point in the show.

Too many eliminations left. Give then another two weeks.

I figure the last two are Eddie and Jay, with a strong finish. I think Jay has a future on FN. Eddie may well be around in the future, too.

I am just happy that Jay is doing something with his life besides farting around on the radio with his kid brother

He could do a show about cooking, very obviously based on how he's done on this show. But he could also do a show about eating. Like DDD or Man vs Food, kind of thing. Not everyone can do both like that. He'll stick around in some capacity I'm sure.

Next one out I think.

It has to be the food itself. His food is what I'd like to eat week after week.

Jay seems so TV ready and a tailgating show would be great. It's so obvious I could produce it.

All I know is, Jay's "gumbo" was an embarrassment and an abomination.

At least he admitted it... even mentioned it when he had to talk about 'dishes gone wrong' or whatever it was.

His gumbo was sad.

I was surprised he didn't add more broth to it to loosen it up a little, but he probably knew there was no salvaging the dish. By the way, he very skillfully demonstrated you can't make a decent gumbo in 45 minutes.

Jays advantage to me is he hasnt strayed from his original "point of view" of outdoor cooking, grilling and tailgating in louisiana.

Whats eddie's "point of view" at this point?

Eddie is somewhere between fit food and a Jamaican theme or something.

In all honesty, I think Jay will probably have a program regardless of the outcome of this show. Seems inevitable at this point. He's a star.
