Here we go again! The great mystery of cooking Jambalaya. It’s the simplest dish in the world, and everyone acts like they’re making fricking 3 day duck l’orange.
That you can make on a stove? I’d say 95% of the Jambalaya I’ve ever made was on a stove, unless I was at a tailgate or something.
Brown some meat in some oil/fat.
Dump in some rice and stir it around a few minutes.
Add twice as much liquid as you did rice.
Boil off almost all the liquid.
Turn down the heat to low and cover the pot.
30 minutes later, eat

I am in a rather foul mood. And that is the gist of Jambalaya. I mean I left out the seasoning vegetables and spices, but that’s basically how you make it. The quality of the meat and sausage is the most important part.

Look up Justin Wilson jambalaya. Works for me.
Gus, I guarantee that you are clueless about things that are easy for many of us.

How do you think jambalaya is made? Over a campfire?

I’m clueless about fixing cars and how to hit a golf ball, so ya got me there.

Jambalaya is basically cooking rice with whatever ingredients you want thrown in. pork, chicken, sausage, veggies, whatever. 2 parts water, 1 part rice, bring to a simmer and let cook for 20-30 minutes.
