Dog, I tried freebirds twice and will pass it up to go to izzos or chipotle 10 out of 10 times now. It ain't good. Only Texans seem to like it.

yeah Shreveport has Freebirds

I choose Chipotle over Freebirds 10/10 times

Is that the original location?

I just know the one in Metairie is terrible

Original location is on Burbank. I've never been to the Metairie one, so I can't comment.

All I know is that I can get a reasonably healthy burrito (or if you'd rather call it a wrap, I get it) filled with fresh ingredients for $7 and change after tax. I've never had an issue with the meat being cold, but it stands to reason that if you pile a bunch of cold pico, cheese, lettuce, sour cream, etc. next to warm meat, the meat is going to cool off.

The pork and seasoned dark meat chicken are the only meats I bother with there. The steak is generally inconsistent and oftentimes full of gristle, and the white meat chicken needs more seasoning.
