Got 50 ears in Coushatta yesterday, will have a report in about 5 minutes to the sweetness of it, the peaches I got were good but not spectacular.
That is a hell of a nice stand up that way, I had never been, but was driving to an acct and them fellas had everything.

the best way I found for freezing is whole, as is, in husk shoved in a plastic bag, works good.

Ok, it was perfect. I don't do anything but shuck, run in some water and freeze in gallon bags. Seems good to me as long as you get rid of it in a couple weeks. But I will soak some tomorrow for the pit, then cream some.....nom, nom,nom

traded some of that corn for some fresh tuna from another poster. This is what I ended up with: tuna, cucumber, red onion, jalapeno, lime juice, little soy and teriyaki

Damn wick, I ate my corn off the same Sams hefty plate. Fine china doesn't hold a candle
