What texture are you trying to achieve? Separate, like for a bean salad, or completely puréed and soft?

Hit the bean/soup button. Let it bleed out on its on. Takes little over an hour

I do mine for an hour. Bleed for 10 min. Quick release. Just the right consistency of mushiness.

I just did red beans in the instant and ended up doing 65 minutes, with a 25 minute natural runoff. More than decent consistency.

I want to do white soon as well. I may do 70-75 to see if they get a little softer.

One I would also change is not adding the sausage at the beginning of the pressure cook. Made the chunks a bit mushy.

I do 50 minutes with a 20 minute natural release.

Here is a video of me doing red beans from a few weeks ago...I do my white beans the same way.

So yeah right at 60 min...beans and pickle pork were perfect. I'm buying the hype on this thing.
