What I posted is the same menu that was in front of me a couple days ago. The only off-menu option was the red beans special. Not saying your friend didn't have shrimp tacos, but it's not a current lunch menu offering.

While I don't specifically remember, it wouldn't surprise me if my "lunch" was later in the afternoon (after 3pm), so it's possible we had a dinner menu.

Felt inspired to grab lunch at Overpass today, and being they have their daily specials on the menu, I figured I would add them for the sake of discussion: Monday through Friday, in order... red beans and rice, chicken fried chicken, pork chop, hamburger steak, poboy of the week.
