If you’re soaking the beans, make sure it’s not in the pot you’ll be using. Also, make sure the pot is pre-greased. Those beans love to stick to the bottom of the pan. Bacon grease is great for preheating pan.

Oh, and something I forgot to add last night. If you use worcestershire sauce, try replacing some of it with fish sauce.

Don't just replace it all because fish sauce is powerful stuff, but try a teaspoon or two at a time and see if you like it.
