I miss driving all over Metry and Kennabrah looking for fresh Broadway Rolls when we would "go to the city".

My wife's family used to own the bakery when she was in grammar school but it went out of business years ago. We both still remember the single cloverleaf king cakes you could get at time saver!

Buttermilk drop bakery is better than every donut shop mentioned in this thread.

The owner has studied old mckenzies recipes. He makes the buttermilk drops even better than I recall.
