Geez, Yuengling is the Big Bang Theory of the food board. I'll admit some people hype it up too much, but it's a very good every-day-beer.

Because it doesn't have over 50 IBUs would be my guess.

Your go to response here anytime someone says a beer isn't great, eh Redhawk?

No that's not my reason. I happen to like both bitter bombs as well as beers malty enough to leave a coating on your teeth.

The reasons I don't like it: 1. It's a lager (at least the onle people refer to by default) and I just don't like the lager taste. 2. It has very little character, i.e. low malt taste and middle of the road hops. 3. Whatever their house yeast strain is, it sticks (my opinion, I know), but it has a yeasty aroma.

I wouldn't like either, since I want a beer that has balance. I like Yuengling because it is a very refreshing lager with very mild hops and malt that makes for a great session beer at a great price for times I want to drink a 12 pack.

Been my go to beer since I was a kid, was disappointed when I moved to BR and found out it wasn't available unless you were lucky enough to get it at chimes when they used to sell it

I heard mockler beverage bought the right to distribute yuengling and were going to start selling it around June, but I haven't heard anything official

I actually brought some back from home last summer. Two cases of it, but some peepz of African American decent decided to break into my car and steal it along with other items.

Will probably get some more this summer if anyone wants any
