When younger and ate a few of them a year my favorites were the fried, sugar coated apple, lemon or pineapple ones in that order.


The small baked round coconut pies were my favorite of that type.

Y'all still think hubig pies are coming back? The cake may not have been a lie, but the pie sure as hell was.

Probably will happen when they capture a Yeti, Bigfoot, Rugaroo, Skunk Ape and prove the Loch Ness Monster is definitely real.

Hubig's reopening has become an "Urban Myth" category story.

I'd say capturing a Yeti almost seems more likely at this point. Seriously, why is information so scarce if they're supposed to be coming back? This is not some government black site. It's a pie Factory. And the owner surely has friends and family. Someone would have heard something. Someone would have said something. Information would be circulating. We would see signs, figurative and literal. It's impossible that there would be this kind of information drought if this place was actually on the verge of returning.
