Iced Tea

Never been to one of these, can a place that only sells flavored iced teas be a viable business, better be damn good tea. Smoothie King sells meals through a straw, kind of different concept.

Just speculating on the concept, I love iced tea, so if they have sugar free options, I'd try it.

UrTeas in Mandeville is killing it. All house brewed, sugar free teas in many varieties.

Of course, demographics and all

There is one a couple miles from my house.

Never had a desire to go there.

One just opened near us in TX. Took 3 months longer than the new Popeye’s built right next door. Popeye’s is really good. Won’t be stopping for tea. Odd concept.

There is a HTeaO near me. We go during their happy hour from 2-4 and all drinks are 1/2 off. It can get pretty busy during HH.

HTea-O started in Midland I believe and has been expanding at a pretty good pace

This could interest me. I’ve given up carbonated drinks (mostly), and when I’m out and about, I miss being able to pick up something good in a drive-thru.

Have you tried Kung Fu tea in the South College shopping center?

I am not a fan.

You can sell anything to some people…..iced tea really…..people. Are so lazy these days…..they can’t pay back their loan but they can buy iced tea

That has to be the craziest assumption jump ever. People who buy iced tea are people who can’t pay off their loans. WTAF?

No drive thru. You'll have to "get down"

I've tried a few of their unsweet teas, but haven't found one that I like, even though their menu tries to categorize the teas based on sweetness.

Went to the HTea-O website but couldn't find an address for the new Lafayette location. Any idea?

I know I don’t like fruity teas that some places offer, like raspberry, or anything floral. At home I’ve been combining unsweetened tea with artificially sweetened lemonade. I know it’s not good for me, but ya gotta make choices.

And like a previous poster said, some of us tea drinkers are lazy. Getting down seems like too much work. Now, where is that lazy arse bitch emoji?

ETA: Steiner and Kaliste Saloom, according to one article.
