How do I know if I like the wings more or the wing sauce more?

I seem to be making/eating wings more and more these days.
I for one think they are on of the healthier ways of eating chicken. I don't know why. Maybe it is because it takes a while to work at the meat, and by the time you have had 5-7 you have a good bit of protein, and it took long enough to satiate you. Additionally the sauce often is spicy which goes from interest, to tolerance, to cautious finishing of the wings.
But now I wonder...since I started this uptick in eating wings in the last 6 months or so...which do I like better? The wings or the sauce? Like, why do I eat wings?
Anyone ever think about this?
Just as an aside, I realized this could be used a metaphor for relationships.

Hot Wings with Blue Cheese are actually very low-carb friendly.

Also, use the wing sauce on other things aside from chicken and see what you think.
Try the chicken wings without any sauce or a very different sauce than you're used to and see if you still like them.
You probably love them together because chicken wings and hot sauce go together like peas and carrots.

Do y'all boil first or just smoke?

I smoke, then flash fry, then toss in sauce. Blue Oak style.
