Wife and I want to leave Lake Charles Saturday morning and hit up a lunch spot and a dinner spot. We are going to stay the night, but want to pin down dining first.

I know yall will make killer recommendations. What you got!

Clark’s Oyster Bar, Brasserie 19, Hudson House, The Annie, il Bracco, Balboa Surf Club…all good “date” places for lunch.

Little’s Oyster Bar(get the caviar service), Navy Blue for dinner(swordfish au poirve is a can’t miss here), Baso, BCN…all good dinner date places.

Which d’Alba? The one I go to has a section of the outdoor patio dedicated to kids….and even then, I wouldn’t send anyone here for anything other than weekend brunch, maybe.

If you want a fun / quirky pre-dinner or after dinner drink, hit up Lei Low. It’s a Tiki Bar near the Heights. Great drinks and it’s like stepping back in time.

Don’t let the exterior of the building fool you.

Lei Low is a good time. Had an Uber driver one ask me as we pulled up, “you sure this is it?”

OP - get a pre-dinner drink at Hotel Colombe d’or and take a quick Uber to:

Uchi (sushi)
Doris Metropolitan (steak)
Handies Douzo (hand roll sushi)
Graffiti Raw (seafood)
Little’s (seafood)
Nobie’s (American/seasonal)
