Spiciest thing, I ate a ghost pepper. It was not fun. Cannot imagine a carolina reaper or pure capsaicin. Spiciest dish, probably some wings...I usually always get the hottest a place has to offer.

I had it from Bolton's and Nashville and I think it was the spiciest thing I've ever eaten. It was so hot it just ruined the meal and ruined me. A couple days later I had some hot chicken that was "mild" and I thought it was really good. Great blend of spices acting as a rub instead of a sauce like I expected.

I ate rotisserie chicken last night covered in Last Dab

I've gotten somewhat used to it, but every time I think about it my face starts sweating.

Nah, I've built up a pretty good tolerance. Still hot as frick, but I've gotten to where I can eat it a decent amount of it without milk or water.

Personally for me it was a "Thai hot" level of pad thai from some hole in the wall place in Houston.

A friend of mine at some 3 pepper cheesesteak from a texmex joint in Houston on the same trip and was visibly crying while eating it.

Does anyone actually enjoy an eating experience like that? Sounds horrible

Extremely spicy food can induce an endorphin release in response to the pain signals felt from capsaicin.

So yeah, you can almost get high on it.

The first time I had Indian food was in the 80s in England, I ordered Chicken Vindaloo because I had heard of it. They asked me if I wanted it British spicy or Indian spicy, of course I said Indian spicy. Holy shite that was the hottest thing I've ever eaten.

I did the same thing in London in 1989. We were drinking beer like water to quench the fire, with perspiration covering our faces.

He did not know it would be that hot. It wasn't intentional, and it didn't take many bites for the tears to come.

He sure didn't seem to be enjoying it, but don't think he wanted to puss out and not eat the food they served him. I can't remember if he finished it or not.

I have XX and XXX. I was just eating XX last night. I'm trying to finish off the bottle. I have about 1/4 left. I can't tell much of a heat difference between the two.

I did that Paqui One Chip Challenge a couple years ago. That was brutal.
Had the Mi So Spicy at Ramen Tatsu-Ya in Austin. I sweated like I was digging a ditch but it was soooooooo good

I've got the XXX and the reaper. XXX seems hotter to me, or at least the reaper is more flavorful if the heat is the same.
