I ate at the same Hooters a couple of months ago and had the same experience- lousy wings, homely waitresses. Never thought the food was anything special but the girls were usually hot, so it kind of made up for the poor quality. Girls there were awful and I was surprised at how half the tables had kids (not really a family joint IMO). the other half of the crowd was sketchy. Needless to say I wont go back.
Used to eat at a Hooters in Crestview, FL when I was at horse shows there. Their talent declined over the years so maybe its a national trend not just BR.

Could be. I've noticed this at the hooters in Gulf Shores and in Destin.

Been at Hooters on College about twice in the last half yr. 1st time, the wings were absolutely pitiful(hardly no meat) and the 2nd time was much better. Maybe its hit and miss, IDK.

I ate at the Destin location for spring break and pretty much the whole staff of girls was 6+. it was ridiculous.

Yeah. I feel like I remember going to the College Drive Hooters like 6ish years ago, and it being all college students. The couple times I've been in the past few years, it was ghetto and mostly empty.
As for the talent, I think there's just much more competition for good-looking girls these days. You have bars like Pelican, Happy's, etc. who employee cocktail girls. They make decent money doing that, and don't have to work with food much at all. Then you have places like Walkons, Schlittz, Sullivans, etc. where the girls are dealing with food but they are making money like crazy. Why dress like a tramp at a breastraunt when you can dress more modestly and make as much, if not more, money? Hell, I want to say I've heard even the chicks in TShirts at Sammy's make more than Hooters now.
And then if someone really wants to dress trampy, Twin Peaks girls make more money and are required to do zero work beyond waiting the tables.
I much prefer Hooters over Twin Peaks as a restaurant, but I can certainly see why beautiful women aren't rushing to be employed there.

Last time I passed by Siegen location it was crowded but it wasn't packed if that makes sense. Twin Peaks hurt that location something bad
