Hello F&D board:

Any specific recommendation for a home milk steamer/frother? Preferably for use with regular 2% milk, but also for use with others milks such as almond milk.

TIA!

I have the Nespresso one. It works well and cleans easy. I’m sure there are better out there, but I’ve never had a problem with mine.

Also find macadamia is the best frothing nut milk.

Another vote for the Nespresso.

The wife uses it with skim and it does fine. Easy to clean as well.

if you want it steamed, you might as well microwave it. those handheld frothers with the coils at the end won't heat it but make some good foam, they'll run for about $10.

preferably, you'd want a coffee machine that has a built in steam wand, but it's not necessarily worth it to buy another machine just for steaming. you could buy one of those $100+ milk frothers that steam AND froth to precise temperatures, but that it's up to you

I have a Krupps espresso machine with a built in steamer. Works great. 30 Seconds and the milk is hot and frothy
