Highway Fried Chicken on Jefferson near Clearview

it took over the 50's style diner building that previously housed Dot's Diner (RIP). Probably the best fried chicken I've ever had in my life. Run by a Korean (?) family that lets the young kids/grandkids work a few hours here and there. It's delicious and the whole setup is charming. Highly recommended.

I passed by the other day and saw it. I was curious and almost tried it, but we were heading to Kim Anh’s. Going to have to give it a shot.

They're on Waitr now, in case anyone is interested. I'm pissed at Waitr after a few bad experiences, but still.
