Anyone have any experience with these crawfish cookers? Any opinions would be greatly appreciated.

I'm good saving $300 and waiting the extra 10 minutes it takes to come to a boil

Yes.

A hundred quart pot and and 30 psi burner and my shite's boiling in 15 minutes.

I'd love to have a pot that can boil 2 sacks at a time but I also don't want to spend $700-$2500 on a rig that can handle that.

I have the 4 sack boiler. Use it commercially. Great piece of tech. Only prob is the weld busted out of the tank after one season. Easy fix. But , for that price it shouldn’t have happened.

The HPC pots really do boil much faster than a normal flat bottom pot, but they also use significantly less gas which would make a big difference in your bottom line if you’re boiling commercially.

Just an fyi. You probably already do this though.

When I have to do 2 sacks, I just use 2 pot set up with 30psi regulators. Both are boiling in 15 minutes. And if you really want to save some money, Walmart marks alot of their shite down at the end of the season. I picked up a burner and pot there a few years back for about 75 bucks or so.

Also, you can find alot of stuff on Craigslist.

Yes, I have a 1 sack boiler and a 2 sack boiler. Both get plenty of work during crawfish season.

Am I correct in assuming that the 100 qt setup is good enough for a 1 sack boil with all the fixings? Thanks to all for the replies.

I made this upgrade upon the advice in several threads here and it made a huge difference. Mine probably gets there in less than 15 min.

80 qt is plenty big for that. You can maybe do 1.5 sacks in 100 qt pot with fixings.
