Their is an ordinance in BR not allowing restaurant/bars in apartment complexes is what i was told.

Sounds typical.

The thing I always liked about that place, was that there was always something so UN-typically uptight Baton Rouge about it.

The first one I did was Duck and andouille. Ounce and I filled up 2 of those red ice tea cups with bloody mary's and took off for Benoit's for the andouille...I cooked it for a monday night football game and everyone loved it . Ounce and I used to fill up those red cups with bloody mary's and go off christmas shopping every year...the girls did real well..the drunks bought everything...According to the Parish ordinances if the bar was more that 50% destroyed it can't be rebuilt as a bar/restaurant in the apartments...so The Fairwayview is history....God the stories that old phone booth in front could tell.

No shite.

He liked having a guest cook on Mondays. I have a couple of the red iced tea glasses here at home and use them for a big cocktail when I'm in the backyard.

Ouncy and Mary Katherine were good friends and still are good friends of mine. I just don't see them often. MK is working as the lunch host at Primos.

Ouncy is like a brother...we played a lot of golf together...got drunk too much and lost two wives together....MK, I have known since she was 17...Matt, I stop by and have a drink with he and cricket at primo's...but I can't afford to both eat and drink at Primo's so I choose to drink there..I always ask about MK but I have not seen her in a while. Tell them all Tim say's hi.

I started frequenting fairway late in the game but i used to love when some of the old regulars would stop by to have a drink or two. I went their with two lady friends one night after St patrick's day and ended up in a strangers limo driving all over BR partying. Thank you ladies

That would have been Dr. Stephen Wilson's white limo.

I do not like the food. It is average at best, I use to work across the street from the place and ate there when I needed to get out of the office but didn't want to go to far. The service was always great, but I would have to say the burger is the best thing there which is average at best.

I've eaten there a bunch of times over the years. I still go back. I haven't found anything I don't like there.
