Haven't eaten either in a couple o' years but KFC> Popeyes...

At least in the tender category, 5 piece Nashville hot w/ mashed potatoes is far superior to 5 piece spicy tender w/ mashed taters, hell I even think modern day kfc biscuit> Popeyes hockey puck

I can't recall ever going to Church's, I haven't been to KFC in all over 10 years. I like Popeyes but the employees suck.
Mainly I go I chic fil a and Canes not because it's better. Because the employees are.

When I lived in Cheyenne, there was a KFC directly across the road from where I lived. It was the most convenient place to eat when the roads were icy and I didn’t feel like driving anywhere.
There are exactly 2 items on the menu that are very good.
1. The “famous bowl”.
2. The bbq chicken sandwich.
Those are my guilty pleasures and I would only admit that on an anonymous internet board.
The best chicken available in the fast food world is the blackened tenders from Popeyes with blackened ranch dipping sauce. You are a fool if you say otherwise.

This is a fact.
Had KFC at a party a few weeks ago and was surprised how good the biscuits were. The Popeyes ones are just bad. Like a crumbly arse scone.
Popeyes is better in everything else but swap biscuits and you have a perfect fast food chicken meal.

If both are on their A game, which is very seldom, I would give a slight nod to KFC. Problem is it is very hard to find a good KFC.

We dont have KFC in the New Orleans area- not the places I go. The last time I had KFC was at the one on Vets by Lowe’s that closed 4 or 5 years ago. KFC was never good.
I last went to a Popeyes in 2019. The one on Vets by Bonnabel. Pitiful service every time. Popeyes food sucks, and I honestly do not understand why anyone would go there.
