Been hearing about this stuff for a while now from the YouTube BBQ channels. Looked into it about a year ago but could only find at a handful of online butchers, and the cost inclusive of shipping was just too high.

Fast forward to a week ago, and wild fork (reasonably priced online meat market with cheap shipping for anyone in their delivery zone) is now stocking some cuts, so I gave it a shot.

Wow! Secreto is by far the best pork I've ever had, and rivals high end steaks. I was in a rush, so I pan fried rather grilled, and it still turned out amazing.

I would highly recommend this to anyone if you find it available.

If anyone is interested, below is the link where I bought it. I have nothing else to compare to, so I can't speak to their quality of iberico pork vs elsewhere, but this stuff was amazing.

Either Costco or Sam's had them on sale before Christmas. It was roughly $120 a ham.

I've had samples (tapas) in Barcelona and the ham is wonderful. You need something to slice it thin with. It's too flavorful to carve out big slabs, like we do with your typical ham.

Had Iberico and secreto in Madrid last Summer, had it in restaurants as tapas and also picked up a few packs for breakfast at the market. It is awesome.

Wine Bar George in Disney Springs had it on their menu the two times we visited and, we ordered it both times.

Extremely tender and juicy cut of pork.

Thanks for the source link.

ETA: Just remembered, Cúrate in Asheville had it as a special on the night we visited there, as well.

Had it at Jaleo in D.C. and Disney springs. Damn good pork.
