heard they're shutting it down this week.

I thought they did decent there.....MUST BE THE CURSE OF CHIMES EAST!!!!

I don't think Santa Fe will last long either. It's definitely a weird part of town.

It's not weird, just misunderstood. And I agree, Santa Fe will probably be gone in two years. That El Paso restaurant across the street will probably do just fine. (I really haven't been paying attention, but that's my gut instinct.)

I went one time. It was fine. Only went cause I was seeing a girl from around that area. Otherwise it was nothing special.

I guess the sacrificial Happy's used to keep the LP folks out of downtown just couldn't handle it.

my wife (gf at the time) got drunk x100 for the first time at happys. she swore to never go there again

I think frequent check points killed that crowd.


that and twin peaks probably took some of that clientele

Must be a new thing. I know bulldog area on perkins is a hot spot and by LSU not Coursey
