Had my first Ghost in the Machine today

Came to NOLA and finally found a place that had it on tap.
You guys weren't kidding, this is great. Wasn't expecting it to look like orange juice tbh haha.
Came the last two years and I hadn't found one bar that had it.
I know I'm late to the party, but just wanted to say thanks for the recommendation like two years ago or whatever.

I bought a 4 pack and didn't like the first one. The 2nd was better and I really enjoyed the 3rd and 4th.

Like two weeks ago you said you brewed an IPA that was like batches 1-4 of Ghost. Now you're saying this. I can't figure out if you know what you're talking about, if you're trolling, or if you're just ignorant.

If you think the original ghost releases are the same as what you can get on the shelf now, maybe you should ask yourself if you know what you are talking about. OG Ghost wasnt a NEIPA. It was basically a DIPA Envie. Now it has the extreme haze, mouth feel, and softness NEIPAs have.

Well you seem to understand that batches 1-4 of Ghost were not what we drink now, but it's really impossible to talk about 1-4 in general terms because there was so much variance in those early batches. People still cream themselves talking about that batch 4 juiciness. Batches 1 & 2 were like drinking 90 minute. So I don't understand how you can make a beer that's like all 4 of those batches.

im meaning generically like a true DIPA like the early batches as compared to the new treand of Juice. I guess i never got batch 4 cause no early batch i had was anything like the juiciness of NEIPAs.

Lol the Decadence fest was a shock. We have been coming here for our Fantasy football draft the last few years.
