Had Lunch At Central City BBQ Today

Group of 4 of us went. Had the 5 meat deal that came with 4 sides. We chose ribs, brisket, Cowboy Candy (smoked pork belly), burnt ends and turkey. Sides were mac and cheese, smoked brussel sprouts, brisket chilli and spoon bread. I gotta say, it was killer.
The ribs were just tender enough to not fall off the bone, came unsauced and didn't need any. Delicious. Had a very light sweetness to them, which I like.
Brisket was 5 slices of flat. Pull-apart tender. Great tasting bark that wasn't overly salty.
The Cowboy Candy was probably the consensus table favorite. Had a sweet sauce glazed on and the fat was rendered down to the point that it just dissolved in your mouth when you ate it.
Burnt ends came unsauced as well. Super tender. Ended up trying their vinegar based sauce on them and loved it but they honestly didn't need it. Personally, these were my favorite.
Turkey was nice and moist with a slight level of smoke flavor, which is what turkey needs IMO. Nice savory rub on it.
Sides were all very good but don't skip the brussels or brisket chili if you go. We had one app on recommendation from CFA...brisket bombs. They look like boudin balls but have brisket in them and come with a smoked jalapeño ranch dipping sauce. Holy shite they were awesome.
Four of us ate for ~$60.00 (not counting cold beers) and took home a to-go box. If you've never been, you need to. We most definitely will be back.

Drinks + your app+ tax your bill was $100 if not more, why misrepresent that.

You don't deserve an explanation or my time. There's the door.

Are you that fricking poor or cheap? Family of 4 with drinks and you’re bitching?

God forbid the guy come out and mingle with patrons and make sure everything is to your liking huh?

Because you convinced me they had turned over a new leaf a few months ago and I walked into some dry bbq once again.

You don’t trust I’d admit to dry BBQ?

I think your threshold for good bbq is lower than mine.

Have you made it out to LA23 yet, or tried the Gonzo popup?

Haven't been to one in probably a decade but I'd imagine we could make Chili's $100 for 4 with alcohol

I didn’t say anything about that actually
Guy said 4 of them ate for $60.00
The sampler alone was $59.00, and he admitted they bought an app for the table
Now an app + tax puts you way over $60.00
Add a few beers and soda/tea and you’re at $100.
My only question was: why misrepresent that. Oh yea, cause this is an advertisement
