Grilling Veggies in Grill Basket

I bought one this weekend and grilled some broccoli yesterday. It turned out somewhat dry but it had good flavor.
Do y’all use butter? Olive oil? Something else to keep it moist? Do you blanch it before you put it on the grill?
I’m trying to avoid excess liquid underneath the grates.

I always toss my veggies in olive oil
Broccoli is going to soak most oil up though pretty well
If you want a little more wet, drizzle some oil or butter on them after they are finished
