I remove the silks as best as I can, wrap the husk back up and soak them maybe as long as it takes for the coals to burn down. Remove and let them sit and drain. Grill them in the husk and after about 10 minutes remove all husks and back on the grill naked for some char. Only add the butter after since I’m lazy and don’t want to deal with brushing it on while at the grill.

I leave it in the husk and microwave it. Cut off the stalk and shake it out by the tassel, it slides out completely clean. Hit the grill for just a few minutes and ready to eat.
