Absolutely delicious, nice and tender and a meat lovers dream. Rare to medium rare, nice grill marks and juicy as hell.
Had that with sautee'd mushrooms and baked assorted vegetables consisting of new potatoes, red and green bell peppers, carrots, celery, onion, garlic all drizzled with olive oil and seasoned with Slap Ya Mama, black pepper, oregano, sweet basil and parsley, all fresh from the garden.

You didn't happen to take any pics, did you?
I did a comparison of the prime NY strip from Fresh Market vs Costco a couple of weeks ago, and found the Fresh Market steak to be better, although both were excellent. The Costco steak was a better value, at regular price. At the time, the FM steak was on sale ($24.99/lb discounted to $14.99/lb) and I got an additional 30% off because my son works at FM - so the FM steak was cheaper for me. The Costco steaks were $11.99/lb.
I got some extra Costco and FM steaks for the freezer, and I'm going to do another comparison where I cook one on a gas grill and another on charcoal and get opinions on which is better.

I got the whole Prime N.Y. Strip for $9.79 a lb. and trimmed about 1 lb. of fat and silver skin off it before cutting it up in steaks, each in the 1 lb. range.
