Nice map, thanks!
I'd like to see that map extended into Ascension, Livingston and surrounding parishes though.
Another one I would would add to the ones I listed earlier would be Wayne's Barbeque in Livingston, LA. Pretty solid BBQ joint.

Ask and you shall receive...looking forward to getting them updated. Wife and I enjoy traveling to the rural restaurants for "dates". Looks like Grapevine and Wayne's both made that list and should stay.
It must not be too old because it shows Sarita's in their new location. That's been within the last year I think.

Yea, I think it was made around this time last year and we have made a few minor updates through winter. I needs a complete check and places closed, removed and new placed added.
One of the best Mexican's around...

That title belongs to El Meskal sir.
On a side note, I went on a date to the old Saritas location on the river. Epic fail. Got lost. The bugs were out like crazy. She was not impressed.

I agree with that statement! I love their pork fajitas...you don't see that option at too many Mexican restaurants.

Silly boy, you can't go outside at dusk down here...

I have not eaten there in years, we used to eat there before they moved on Wednesday nights for AYCE shrimp, and crabs. I think I have only eaten at the Fred's location once way to long to give a current food report...

The Shell station on Perkins, between Bluebonnet and Siegen has really good hamburgers, gyros and chicken shawarma. Prices are good too - cheeseburger, fries and a fountain drink for $6.
It really is a great burger. Agree on all counts. I never remember the place and I live 3 minutes from it.

My recommendation is solely for the food, as the service can be very hit or miss and I find that many times they are just simply under staffed.
Pelican Landing Grill in Gonzales, LA on HWY 44 near pelican point.
Tried out the landing last night with a baw of mine. Probably the best burger in the AP. The bun was very solid.
You were right about service though, it was interesting to say the least. Not bad, just interesting.
Best part of the night was walking over to Pelican Pub next door and having some cheap beers and playing golden tee. And being served by a sexy arse cougar.

Coffee Bean on Coursey. Awesome salads and a very good chicken salad sandwich.
