The color and thickness of the blood shocked me. I always thought I'd try blood boudin if given the chance, but now I don't know.

Great video- thanks for sharing that.

I have been raised on boudin and love it so much and could eat it every day- unfortunately, no decent boudin in New Orleans.

The blood boudin is my favorite, probably because thats what we had the most- almost exclusively from Bourgeois in Thibodaux where my mother is from.

I've had Billy's, Poche's, and Best Stop- and like them all. I prefer the liver taste, which is definitely 'old school'- so I think I like Poche's the best. The pepperjack balls from Billy's are insane. I have not yet been to Don's- that's the one I want to try next.

Who here has actually had "blood Boudin?"

Bought some at Babineaux's Slaughterhouse in Breaux Bridge last year. About what I was expecting, its off my "to do" list and I'll probably never eat it again...

I love everything about this video.

"Scott is the Boudin Capital of the World, Broussard is self-proclaimed Boudin Capital of the World... and Jennings is still the Boudin Capital of the Universe"

Boudin and coffee for breakfast was something me and my Mimi always did when she came to our house.

That statement needs someone to defend it. What boudin does Jennings have to offer other than boudin king which is borderline crap? I grew up in that part of the state and even I think the vile platte-Eunice-Scott triangle is the end all be all boudin area. There are some good links to be had elsewhere though as I will easily concede. (Thinking of rabideauxs in Iowa)
