Had the same problem. Switched or the propane tank and all was good. There was something wrong with valve on the bottle.

That was going to be my suggestion.

Interesting. Will get one of my other bottles filled and give it a try.

I’ve got a 36” I bought last fall. I seasoned it well with almond oil and only cooked on it 3-4 times. I’m moving next month and my new house will have a built in kitchen. I love it but don’t have a need for it anymore. I’ve kept the griddle under a black stone cover and I keep things in pristine condition. I’m looking to sell it for around $250 and I will even help you load it up. I’m in the BR/Denham area.

Home Depot selling it for 250 brand new I'll give you 150 for it

I posted a pic earlier of temps on mine. At least I think I did. Surface temp of 550. It gets pretty damned hot. Is it level?
ETA: propane tank with bad valve was a good suggestion. I hate it when that happens.

I recently bought one myself and went ahead and bought the drip trey extension after reading reviews. Not sure if black stone fixed the problem, but my drip trey is located on the back (middle) and I have no issues. Will be sending the extension back

One more bump. You were right. Switched out the tank and with 4 burners on I sweat my arse off. Cooked like a dream.
