On my way to Dallas and getting hungry. I'm about to hit Shreveport. Any good places to stop off of i20 between Shreveport and Dallas, preferably closer to Shreveport.

If it's on Shreveport, that's cool too. I haven't passed through yet.

TIA

Bodacious BBQ at the 2nd Kilgore exit, if they are open.

Jan's River Restaurant

There's a Mexican place in Tyler called The Jalapeño Tree that's pretty decent.

In Tyler, the place to go is Stanley's BBQ. Excellent ribs and brisket.

That place is the tits. Only problem is tyler is 15-20 minutes south of I20 so I would stick to bodacious bbq or the jerky bbq stop outside of longview. Plenty of good places

Texas Best Smokehouse, where I usually stop. Good food, and pick up some jerky for the rest of the trip.
