I think the sprinkle in ice chest method is OK if you also use Pineapple!

Cherry pie fillling is also great. Poke some holes in the can and toss them in during the soak.

This shite is beyond out of control. My brother in law boiled 6 sacks yesterday. The first five had a variety of canned goods. Green beans, carrots, artichoke hearts, beets and pineapple. The last batch he joked about being out of “fun stuff” to put in the boil so “it’s just going to be crawfish this time” he says. The last batch was his best effort and everyone kept telling him to do it that way from now on.
