Any recommendations.

Only things I know about the place
-people like the bread
-gumbo doesn't have rice
-some sort of bread pudding souffle is supposed to be awesome
-Count Chocula had a less than stellar experience there

Any tips on what to order? I'm not big on turtle soup so that's out.

Turtle soup is good.

They put raisins in their bread pudding.

Yeah I was looking at the pork tenderloin as an option

The entrees don't seem to aggressive for such a high profile place

I know it's going to be awesome though

They will usually have an off-menu item or two that is a bit more so. But, generally, you're right. It's not a place that's typically trying to push the envelope.

I'm ok with it as well

Some places really misfire with their specials when they try to get too creative

This, and if you ask them for some, they will give you this puzzled look.

It strikes me as odd how much you discuss sushi places, whenever I see you post this.

What do you eat at those to form such strong opinions on them?
