Ginger Bread Houses

If you or the Little Missus are doing Gingerbread houses with the kids this year you're going to be highly disappointed with the kit icing if you do a kit. I make Alton Brown's Royal Icing when we do the houses with the kids. It's better than gorilla glue even in humid weather like today.

The wife and I made this one from scratch a year or two back. It was fun and a hit with the grandkids.

The ones From Costco come pre assembled so you just have to decorate. Makes it much easier with impatient 4 year olds waiting to do it
