Great beer. Also a single, not double, IPA. Irrelevant.

Georgia, not North Carolina. Also a single IPA. Also irrelevant to this discussion.

still southeast so yeah. if you really want to distinguish between dipa's and ipa's and one being greater than the other than go ahead, but there are ipa's that are greater than ghost as a dipa. im no trying to really pick apart the two.

still waiting to try cosmik debris.

neither is a DIPA and I would put Opus up against both and I've had all 3. at least if you want to Compare beers use same styles

hold up chief. im not comparing sours to ipa's. once you get over 100 IBU's 99.99% of the worlds population can't taste what's going on anyway. I'm not even trying to compare pales to IPA's. But for the "new school" styles of IPA's, it's pretty common to be able to cross compare. you're clearly a defender of parish and they're great, easily the best in LA, but come down of your horse a little. i havent had opus yet either fwiw, have one in the fridge. will try tonight.

Ghost pairs favorably to almost all the NE DIPAs/IPAs with everyone that I have traded with or tasted side by side with

when I did my blind taste test, Ghost beat Heady, Pliny, and SIP

and no one is going to call me a Parish homer

so

I expect that on a Louisiana based board. TD never has any homerism towards anything.

Dude was being a tool. I showed my arse, but...it felt warranted.

And again, I'm not even saying he's wrong. But the whole way he presented it...it was some real List Eater, name dropping type bullshite.

While you say you've traded with people who all agree with you. I've traded with both, some even say what's all the hype about. Some say that's it's better. The Siebel trained brewers liked those 3 better. I respect their opinion a lot. I respect Andrew a lot.

Point is, a LOT of people think gitm is better than those 3, a lot don't. It's great, I love the beer, don't have anything negative to say about it. Just sharing my experiences with other people.
