I could see where someone could be a little turned off about some of the advertising coming off a little snooty, but the writing is generally pretty awesome about great southern things.

They actually have a lot of great writers and features.
I've been subscribed for the two years I've been out of college. I wanted to get some magazines at my new apartment, and I picked G&G and have no regrets about that spent money.

Even though I cry every time it is delivered because I don't live in a fabulous southern mansion like everyone in the magazine, I still love it.

I find the writing to be mediocre, however I find the publication to be graphically outstanding. I usually just skim through for the food and drink recipes when our issue comes in.
