i'm curious. Has anyone been since it re-opened?
If so, thoughts?
Liked it a lot pre-Katrina.

Went a few weeks ago. It was fantastic. Odd little space and sort of disjointed service, but the food was freaking on point. Sort of a nice throwback, to like the late 90s early 2000 style of what you would get in town, before everything bbecame this sort of monolithic 'New American' amalgam. I had the gumbo and a triple tail fish. Loved it. It's like he picked up where he left off PreKatrina and didn't miss a beat.

We went Easter week and overall enjoyed it and will return. My Mom and I were disappointed in the oysters gabie app because Mom had it pre-k and we’ve both made it multiple times following the recipe. Our results were far better than what we were served. I wouldn’t order it again. Everything else was delicious. We had an older waiter who formerly worked at Arnaud’s. He was so loud it was comical. Not annoying but funny. He grabbed the bread from my Dad’s hand and put it on a shelf by our table insisting that he’d bring another fresh loaf. The way he did it was sitcom like. We laughed and Dad grabbed the bag from the shelf and proceeded to get the bite of bread he wanted. The place is entertainingly quirky.
