Any places that you know of to try in the area? Sister and Brother in law leaving Saturday. Going to get them to bring me back some beers also....hopefully some Cigar City, Bells, and Southerpoint.

No personal experiences in the last twenty years, but Old Bay Steamer gets good press and Staff's, on the west side of town, has been in business for close to 100 years...must do something good.

I think the area has a Crab Trap. That's a dependable, local chain...I don't shun it like some. Can come in very handy , especially with kids.

Is BJ's Pizza Parlor still open by the mall? Home of the Yard of Beer?

Finally tried Staff's for the first time in decades. Food and service was terrible. Hightide at the base of the bridge is better, even if it looks like a dive from outside.

These are solid recommendations. Cafe Italia near Magnolia Grill is very good, too.
