Frying Time for Chicken Drumettes?

I don't normally fry these ... Im doing a commercial type fried chicken batter (dry-wet-dry) instead of naked wings with sauce.

I'm thinking 7-8 minutes at 350?

Anybody in here fry these on the regular?

I'm betting you may need a bit more time. Particularly if you are dealing with a big volume.

you talking the little buffalo wing type chicken?

350 for 7 minutes is plenty enough. you can go 8 minutes if theyre relatively big or you crowd them

Chickens can't tell time! Use a Thermapen. There are variables .

I fry a lot of them. I do 325 for ~10 minutes. I'll confirmed doneness with a Thermapen every so often and always monitor my grease temp with a temp gun.
