Hey guys, Amy suggestions on where to get fresh/not frozen tuna steaks in Mandeville/Covington area?

All tuna is previously frozen, it has to be.
Rouses, fresh market, whole foods are your best bet

You'd be shocked at the number of foods you eat that have been flash frozen right after processing, then thawed and sold later.

+1 on Mandeville Seafood. It's a great seafood shop.
Kenny's in Slidell and Fisherman's Cove in Kenner are other top notch markets.

Mandeville seafood doesn’t carry tuna regularly anymore. They will order it for you.

I use whole food tuna and salmon for sashimi, sushi etc. Still alive with no episodes
